WQOW News 18 and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Wisconsin are working together to improve the lives of children in our community. Check out our Tuesday's Child segments on Live at Five and Daybreak to meet a child waiting for a mentor. From kindergartners to high school students, these kids are simply looking for companionship. Research has shown that children who participate in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program are more likely to improve in school, have better relationships with family and friends, have more self-confidence and are less likely to use drugs or alcohol. By giving just an hour a week, you can help these children live better lives and make your community a better place.
