Okie E. Allen is the owner of the Beltone Hearing Aid Center. Originally from Akron Ohio, Okie moved to Eau Claire with his family to open the new Beltone office. His father, Clark Allen had been employed by Beltone in Akron since 1955, and after being contacted by Beltone Electronics Corp., decided to make this move and accept the new venture.
The new office was opened at 307 S. Barstow St. October 18, 1960, then in 1970 moved to our present location at 2621 E. Clairemont Ave.
1964 our office was awarded the Beltone Presidents Cup for outstanding service and dedication to the hearing impaired. This award is national and can only be received once in a lifetime. We have received numerous other awards throughout the years.
Okie worked at Beltone, along with his father and mother while in high school, then also whenever possible while in the US Navy (served during the Cuban Blockade). Okie is active with his community in various functions, as well as teaching at Chippewa Valley Technical College, and Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College. He is a charter member of the Wisconsin Alliance of Hearing Professionals, has served on the Board of Directors for several years, and also as past President. He has been a member of the International Hearing Society since 1970, a member of the Better Business Bureau, and has been licensed by the State of Wisconsin since it first came into effect in the State. Presently he is serving as Chairman of the State of Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing Hearing and Speech Examining Board.
Okie is dedicated to helping the hearing impaired; he is very knowledgeable in digital and analog technologies, new products and programming of hearing instruments. He also does a lot of in office repairs to hearing instruments.
Okie constantly continues his education through various seminars, educational programs and attending Beltone business conferences.

Marcia R. Prellwitz joined our Beltone office team April 17, 1985. Marcia previously had employment in Home Economics, Education, sales and management experience, and in a fabric, crafts and home sewing machine store. Presently, Marcia is the Office Manager at Beltone. Basically, she is "the chief cook, the baker and the candlestick maker" balancing her duties as a between Customer Service Coordinator, bookkeeper, custodian and "girl Friday. Marcia works with and understands insurance and third party issues for billing and assistance to our clients.
Marcia is very knowledgeable about various types of hearing instruments and recognizes issues that may occur on a daily basis. She is very supportive of her family, friends, and helps with many community, bowling, and church activities. She has also served on countless committees, service events, boards, and councils.
Marcia enjoys woodworking and crafts for hobbies. She also has added two new kittens to her home recently and has fun stories to tell about them and their antics.

Eugene (Gene) J. Beaver, an Eau Claire native, has been associated with this Beltone office since 1987 and is licensed by the State of Wisconsin as a Hearing Instrument Specialist. Prior to this time, he was employed by Luther Hospital, and served in the U.S. Army. He has been successful for many years improving the lives of the hearing impaired. Gene is active with the Wisconsin Alliance of Hearing Professionals, attending annual conferences and training. He also attends schooling to upgrade and maintain his education, staying abreast with the ever expanding technologies of today's Beltone products.
Gene is dedicated to his family, community and hearing impaired. He provides hearing testing and services in many counties of our area, and also is available through our Menomonie Beltone Office, located at 1802 Talen St.

Harold W. Fredrickson has been associated with this Beltone office since 1985 and is licensed by the State of Wisconsin as a Hearing Instrument Specialist. Prior to this time, he served in the US Marines, owned his own business and was employed as a manager by Menards Inc. He has been successful for many years improving the lives of the hearing impaired. Harold is active in his community and civic events. He is dedicated to his family, and the hearing impaired.
Harold lives in the Chetek area and serves most of the Northern communities of our area. He attends schools frequently to upgrade and maintain his education to stay abreast with the ever expanding technologies of today's Beltone products. He is also an active member of the Wisconsin Alliance of Hearing Professionals, and attends their conferences annually.
He provides in home hearing testing, as well as many service centers in Barron, Polk, St. Croix, Pierce, Burnett, Chippewa and other counties.
