Burnett County (WQOW) - A plane crash in Burnett County kills one person.
Deputies say it happened Wednesday afternoon just before 1:30 p.m. The Burnett County Sheriff's Department received a call of a plane crash in the area of County Road O and East River Road in the Town of Anderson, which is near Grantsburg.
Deputies located the plane west of East River Road. The pilot, who was the only person on board, died in the crash. Information regarding the pilot will be released at a later time.
The cause of the crash is now being investigated by the Burnett County Sheriff's Department, FAA and NTSB.
