Sawyer County (WQOW)- Authorities arrest a 27-year-old man and a 15-year-old juvenile Thursday in connection with the brutal murder of a 93-year-old Radisson woman.
The Sawyer County Sheriff's Office says the man was taken into custody this afternoon in Sarona, Wisconsin, while the juvenile was arrested in Radisson earlier this evening. Authorities say both suspects are from Radisson.
93-year-old Irena Roszak was found dead in her home in the Village of Radisson on Tuesday. Autopsy results show that it was a homicide, but the sheriff's department is not saying how she was killed.
Authorities say a break in the case came when they received information from an acquaintance of one of the suspects. The suspect had allegedly discussed participating in the murder.
The Sheriff's Department continues to investigate the crime. They say more details will be available Friday.
