Ladysmith (WQOW) -- What a tenant leaves behind ends up landing him in prison.
Scott Brandstetter, from Ladysmith, was sentenced to one and a half years behind bars on drug charges.
Last year, his landlord was trying to sell the home he had rented from her. As she cleaned it up, she found marijuana plants growing in a closet. She also found a can with marijuana seeds and Scott's driver's license.
