Eau Claire (WQOW) - A computer company that couldn't get the job done for the county has been ordered to pay up.
A jury ordered Softscape Development to pay Eau Claire County about $270,000.
The county hired the company to redo the software system for human services. But after it paid out about $165,000 for the job, the county says it became clear there were problems.
The jury found the company made false claims and breached its contract.
