DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Authorities say two people are dead and another is injured following a vehicle crash on Iowa Highway 139.
The Iowa State Patrol says 50-year-old Richard Wierck and 51-year-old Donna Wierck died Saturday when their motorcycle was struck by a car. They were both from Fairbank.
The driver of the car was injured.
Thirty-8-year-old Michelle Currier of Preston, Minn., was taken to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
Her condition wasn't immediately available.
