Crews Suspend Search for Missing Teen: Went Under in Chippewa River

Dunnville (WQOW) -- The Dunn County Sheriff's Department was called to the Chippewa River near the Dunnville State Wildlife Area after the teen went in.  

The 18 year old was with a group of friends swimming Monday evening when he went under.  Crews have yet to find him.  The sheriff says he will keep crews searching as long as the light will allow them Monday night, and will continue Tuesday morning.  As of Monday night, crews are calling the efforts a rescue and not a recovery.

Two weekends ago zachary lotto a Chippewa Falls teen drowned in the Chippewa River.
