Buffalo County (WQOW) - One man is flown to the hospital following a motorcycle versus ATV crash.
It happened Wednesday just before 5:30 p.m. on County Highway K, just east of Lindstrom Road, in the Town of Nelson.
Deputies say Brandon C. Bauer, 19, of Durand, was driving a 2007 Honda motorcycle and following an ATV on the highway. They say Bauer attempted to pass the ATV, impacting it on the driver's left side of the ATV. The ATV did not stop following the crash.
Bauer continued up the road for several hundred feet, then stopped on the side of the road. He was flown to St. Mary Hospital in Rochester by Mayo One. No word on his condition.
The ATV make and color are unknown. The male ATV driver, who left the scene, was the only person on the ATV. His name is unknown.
