Menomonie (WQOW) - An annual water golf classic is coming up Sunday, for a good cause.
The event is being held at Jake's Supper Club on Tainter Lake, in Menomonie, August 16. The event runs from noon until 6:00 p.m. Proceeds will go towards Special Olympics. Also, $1 of every Sunday brunch served at the club will be donated to the cause.
Participants will have the opportunity to chip golf balls from shore, into a floating holes in the water. Clubs and floating golf balls are provided. The cost is $10 per team of two people.
