DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (AP) - A Crookston, Minn., man has pleaded not guilty to trying to lure a minor in Devils Lake through an Internet chat room.
Thirty-6-year-old Gerald Pride is set for trial in December. He faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted of the felony.
Authorities say Pride had online chats with a Ramsey County deputy posing as an underage girl and allegedly offered to pay for sex. Pride was arrested July 3 when he showed up at a meeting place in Devils Lake.
