Trempealeau County (WQOW) - A seven-year-old is taken to the hospital, after deputies say he was hit by a truck.
It happened just before 3:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon in the Town of Gale, which is in Trempealeau County. Deputies say Eric Docken, 49, of Galesville was driving on Oak Ridge Drive and going around a curve, when he hit Tristan Decker, 7, of Galesville.
Deputies say Decker was playing in the sand that was near and partially on the road. He was taken to the hospital with head and leg injuries. No word on his condition.
