PEPIN COUNTY (WQOW) A small community is coming together to help dozens of neighbors flooded during an August downpour.
Pepin County says overall, the flooding caused about $750,000 in damage after 6 to 7 inches of rain fell in less than three hours.
The Village of Arkansaw was hardest hit.
Now, community members are putting on a benefit to help home and business owners still recovering.
The Arkansaw Fur, Fish and Game Club is sponsoring the Arkansaw Flash Flood Benefit.
The funraiser starts at 12:00 p.m. Sunday at the Arkansaw Creek Park. There will be music all day along with a raffle, bake sale and other events to help raise money.
