Eau Claire County (WQOW) - An area couple faces charges, after they're accused of trashing a man's home. They say he was selling drugs to their daughter.

Charlene and Matt Dexter of Elk Mound, and his brother Ray Dexter of Eau Claire, all face felony and misdemeanor charges.

Last week, a resident on Chippewa Street in Eau Claire called police to say he was upstairs and could hear burglars downstairs breaking and stealing items. Two laptop computers and a VCR were stolen. A TV was also ripped from the wall and thrown to the floor.

Police say Charlene told them they were at a bar and decided to confront the man about selling drugs to their daughter.
