Eau Claire (WQOW) -A division one basketball player will spend time in jail for his role in a bank robbery in Burnett County.
Anthony Diloreto was sentenced to 90 days in jail. He was supposed to be the getaway driver for Melvin Fletcher in a bank robbery in Danbury last year.
Instead, he took off without Fletcher who held up the bank with a sawed off shotgun. Fletcher was later found walking along the highway and was arrested. He was sentenced to a year in jail.
Diloreto, who's over seven feet tall, is a freshman basketball player at Utah State. He'll spend a month in jail each summer for the next three years. He must also do 100 hours of community service in Burnett County.
