
Eau Claire (WQOW) - Another health department puts the brakes on vaccine clinics. The Chippewa County Health Department says it has run out of the seasonal flu vaccine.
Clinics scheduled for next Thursday, October 29th, at the Chippewa Falls Senior Center through Monday, November 9th at the courthouse have been postponed. More vaccine is expected to come in at some point and those clinics will be rescheduled.

HEALTH DEPARTMENT SUSPENDS REMAINING SEASONAL
The health department has run out of seasonal influenza vaccine and is canceling seasonal influenza clinics:
Thursday, October 29, 2009 at the Chippewa Falls Senior Center
Friday, October 30, 2009 at the Chippewa County Courthouse
Monday, November 2, 2009 at St. Jude's Catholic Church in New Auburn
Monday, November 9, 2009 at the Chippewa County Courthouse
Additional seasonal influenza vaccine is expected and the clinics will be rescheduled when available.
Seasonal influenza peaks in January, February and March of each year.
