Area man arrested on charges of trespassing

Trempealeau County (WQOW) - A western Wisconsin man is arrested for trespassing.

The incident happened early Thursday morning in Trempealeau County.

Deputies received a call from an Arcadia resident that a person was inside his home. The suspect then fled the scene. He was later tracked down by a K-9 unit at his home in Ettrick. Deputies say he was hiding under his porch.

Andrew Krautkramer, 33, was taken into custody.

Trempealeau County Press Release:

Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department K-9 Heline and her handler Deputy Tim Wilson tracked a suspect that was hiding in a crawl space under the suspect's house during a search warrant, in the town of Ettrick.

At about 12:08am, Trempealeau County Dispatch received a report from a City of Arcadia resident reporting a male intruder inside his residence. The intruder fled the scene and went to his residence in the Town of Ettrick. Trempealeau County Emergency Response Team arrived at the Town of Ettrick residence where a search warrant was served. Suspect was located under the porch of the residence. Traffic on US Highway 53 was stopped for about 20 minutes while the scene was secured.  

Andrew Krautkramer was booked into the Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department Jail on one count of Criminal Tresspass to Dwelling and two counts of Felony Bailjumping.
