TENMILE, Ore. (AP) - An Oregon man and a Minnesota woman have died in a single car crash near Tenmile, Ore.
Oregon State Police say 37-year-old Jason Wiess, of Tenmile, was westbound on Oregon Highway 42 at about 9:35 p.m. Saturday when he lost control of his Chevy Impala at a high rate of speed along a curve.
The car rolled several times.
Wiess was taken to a Roseburg, Ore., hospital, where he died. A back seat passenger, 44-year-old Karen Pourrier of Fergus Falls, Minn., was ejected and died at the scene.
Another back seat passenger, 44-year-old Micha Weiss of Erhard, Minn., also was ejected. He was taken to the Roseburg hospital with critical injuries and later transported to a Portland hospital.
A front seat passenger, 32-year-old Shannon Smith, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
