
Eau Claire (WQOW) - For the fifth time in exactly three weeks, another area bank is robbed.
This time it happened at the Citizens Community Bank on Eau Claire's west side. Police say the bank was robbed at gunpoint by two men around 12:45 p.m. Thursday.
"They threatened with the weapon, it was clearly a threat. They left on foot, last seen running toward the east, behind the bank," says Chief Deputy Eric Larson of the Eau Claire Police Department.

Eau Claire (Press Release from the Eau Claire Police Department) - 2125 Cameron Street (Citizens Community Bank) in the City of Eau Claire for a report of a bank robbery that had occurred.
Upon arrival, police were advised that two suspects entered the bank a short time earlier and demanded money. One of the suspects displayed a hand gun. The suspects fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. Suspect information is below:

White / Male
Approximately 5'6" - 5'9" tall
130 - 150 lbs
Dark blue hooded sweatshirt
Blue jeans
Baseball cap
Dark backpack
Suspect 2
Male (Dark Complexion)
Approximately 5'7" - 6' tall
190 - 200 lbs
Black hooded zip-up sweatshirt
Black cloth or similar material covering his face
Blue jeans
Baseball cap with red trim
Carrying a white plastic bag
Suspect #1 was additionally described as a white male with a thin build, light colored eyes, and noticeable acne on his face.
Suspect #2 was additionally described as a male with a heavier build, dark complexion skin, and undetermined race at this time.
A handgun was displayed during this robbery. No one was injured.
Members of the Eau Claire Police Department Detective Division and Evidence Technician Team have responded and are processing the scene.

Authorities say someone robbed the Citizen's Community Bank, located at 2125 Cameron Street in Eau Claire around 12:47 p.m. Thursday afternoon. They're not saying much but we do know the two suspects got away on foot.
From the Eau Claire Police Department: On 10/29/09 at 12:47 hours the Eau Claire Police Department responded to 2125 Cameron Street (Citizens Community Bank) in reference to an armed robbery that occurred.
There are two suspects that the Eau Claire Police are looking for. the suspects fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
Suspect 1: Male/white about 6 feet tall, dark blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and baseball cap.
Suspect 2: Male/White about 6 feet tall, black hooded zip up sweatshirt, blue jeans and a hat with red trim.
A handgun was displayed during the robbery. The suspects fled on foot.

We mentioned this is the fifth bank robbery: this is the second robbery in Eau Claire. There were also robberies in Ridgeland, Hudson and Elk Mound.
