Eau Claire (Press Release) - Electric service to 540 Xcel Energy customers will be temporarily interrupted from approximately 5 to 5:15 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2.
The majority of customers who will be affected by the brief outage are in the New Auburn
and Sand Creek areas. In the event of severe weather, the outage will be rescheduled.
This outage is required to make changes to electrical equipment that was impacted
by a recent storm in the area and to ensure safe and reliable power. The outage time may
be shorter or longer depending on working conditions.
