Sawyer County (Press Release) - The victim of an apparent homicide which occurred in Sawyer County Saturday evening has been identified.
The victim has been identified as David W. Palm, 1332 County Road F, Birchwood. His date of birth is 07/02/1966.
As of this writing, the positive identification of the suspect has not been confirmed. The suspect's body was transported to St. Paul, Minn., for a forensic autopsy by Washburn County Officials. Officials are awaiting examination results by a forensic odontologist. It is questionable if the identity will be confirmed yet today.
