Eau Claire (WQOW) - At least one county in the state has begun offering the H1N1 vaccine to all residents, but the Eau Claire health department says that won't happen here, at least not for the time being.
However, beginning Thursday, an Eau Claire clinic will offer the vaccine to more people. Anyone who is between 19 and 64 years old with chronic underlying health conditions will be able to receive it.
Thursday’s vaccination clinic is at Hope Lutheran church from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
On Monday, November 23rd, a clinic will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Eau Claire from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The Eau Claire Health Department says it will continue to follow recommendations from the state. It says it wants to be sure groups with the highest risk have been vaccinated before it opens H1N1 clinics to the general public.
