Eau Claire (WQOW) - An Alma Center man gets two years and four months behind bars for threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend, stealing a car and breaking a doctor's jaw.
Justin Baxter was sentenced in Jackson County on Thursday. Police say last Christmas morning Baxter stood over his ex-girlfriend with a knife, choked her and told her she was going to die.
She eventually got away. Baxter fled in a stolen car but crashed it in the Town of Brockway. Rescuers say Baxter punched out a window on the ambulance and at the hospital, punched a doctor, breaking the man's jaw and thumb.
