Buffalo County (WQOW) - A car crashes and then catches fire. Officers say the driver did not survive.
That crash happened after 3:00 a.m. Thursday along County H just north of Mondovi. The Buffalo County Sheriff's Office says it appears the car missed a curve before crashing into some trees. Law enforcement was on the scene within minutes of getting a call, but says the car was already engulfed in flames and the driver was still inside. Investigators say the driver was wearing a seat belt. Their name hasn't been released.
