Posted:

Eau Claire (Press Release)- Dave and Mindy Pedersen, owners of Pac Basic, LLC in Eau Claire will be the guest speakers at the February 11 meeting of the Jackson County Inventors & Entrepreneurs Club. The club meets on the second Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at the Black River Area Chamber of Commerce, 120 N. Water St., Black River Falls. The meetings are free and open to the public.

With 20 years of experience, the Pedersens will be discussing current trends in the product packaging and display industry.  Design considerations, such as the visual appeal and utilitarian purpose, in developing custom solutions to meet small-run packaging needs for the independent inventor or entrepreneur will be highlighted.  Individuals interested in bringing a product to market are encouraged to attend.

The Jackson County Inventors & Entrepreneurs Club is open to anyone in Western Wisconsin who would like to learn from experienced professionals and discuss their ideas with other local inventors and entrepreneurs. Each meeting will feature a guest speaker and plenty of time for networking.

The Jackson County Inventors & Entrepreneurs Club is a project of the Western Dairyland Community Action Agency. The goal of the club is to create a positive learning environment that will enable participants to successfully move their products to market or to receive assistance in the development of a business plan. No registration is required to attend the monthly meetings and there are no fees to join. For more information call Karman Briggs at 715-836-7511 ext. 174 or e-mail IandE@WesternDairyland.org.
