Two injured in two snowmobile accidents in Pierce County

Eau Claire (WQOW) - The Pierce County Sheriff's Department is called to two separate snowmobile accidents within hours of each other.

One accident was just southeast of Ellsworth. Mathias Reis of Prescott was navigating a curve and fell off the sled. He was taken to the hospital with injuries to the leg.

The other was south of Plum City. Troy minder of Hager City lost control of the snowmobile he was on. He ended up in a creek. Minder was pulled out of the water by a friend. He was transported to Fairview Medical Center with unknown injuries.

Both accidents are under investigation.
