Denver (WQOW)-Colorado governor-elect names UW Eau Claire grad as Cabinet choice.

On Tuesday, Gov.-elect John Hickenlooper appointed Reggie Bicha to head the Department of Human Services.

Bicha was secretary of the Department of Children and Families for the state of Wisconsin.

Bicha was honored in 2009 with the Commissioner's Award. It honored his commitment to protect children and strengthen families in communities across Wisconsin.

The inauguration is Jan. 11, but Hickenlooper says the appointments might not be finished until after he takes office.
