Osseo (WQOW) - To celebrate Sunday's big game, and hopefully a packers victory, one local city is throwing a big outdoor party. Osseo will shut down one entire city block for the day.
"Somewhere, I believe, around nine o'clock, we'll be blocking off the street, setting up a bean bag tournament, games and we're going to have an outside TV and speakers," said Chris Kuehn of Burly-n-Buck's Tavern. "We'll have TV where you can listen to pre-game all afternoon while you're playing games. We got a couple bonfires and we'll be grilling. Starting to prepare some of the chicken. We're going to be doing some wings. They're called Legend Larry's."
Those plan on attending the block party say the Super Bowl is cause for celebration. "Ten years since the packers went to the Super Bowl? Gotta do something," said Mike Thompson of Osseo. "Go Pack, you know."
