Eau Claire (WQOW)- A committee that wants to recall a western Wisconsin lawmaker files 23,000 signatures. That's about 7,000 more than needed.
Harsdorf is a republican who represents the 10th senate district. She was criticized by a recall committee for supporting the bill that targeted collective bargaining. Statewide, recall organizers are going after eight Republicans and eight Democrats for their support or opposition to that bill. Petitions have now been filed against four Republican senators
The Harsdorf campaign says it will review the signatures. If the petition is certified, a recall election could happen this summer.
