Chippewa Falls (WQOW) - Chippewa Falls Police come to a quick resolution in the case of dueling backhoes.
They say three teenagers confessed to using construction equipment to duel with each other. It happened last week on different nights, involving six backhoes and skid-steers. One of the backhoes got tangled in power lines. Damage is about $11,000.
The parents of one of the boys heard about the incident and suspected their son, who confessed. Police say alcohol was involved.
Police say the boys were able to start up all of the machines because the keys had been left in them.
