WQOW TV: Eau Claire, WI NEWS18 News, Weather, and SportsState Uses eBay to Cash-in on Forgotten Items

Wisconsin (WQOW) - The State of Wisconsin is looking to eBay to help cash-in on some forgotten treasures.
The state is using eBay to sell jewelry and other items that have been abandoned in safe deposit boxes. Among the items on the auction block: Columbian Emerald Earings and an Amethyst Pendant.
The state says the money from this sale will be held for the rightful owners or heirs to claim.
The auction started Monday at noon and ends on February 2nd.
