2018 Northern Wisconsin State Fair packs up until next year Video included

The 2018 Northern Wisconsin State Fair is officially over for the year. Vendors, booths, the carnival and the fun packed up at 7 p.m. on Sunday. Organizers said this year attendance may be down a bit, but with free admission and parking before 11 a.m. on Sunday, the crowds may be enough to come close to last year's 95,000 in attendance.

Chicago police shot and killed a man Saturday night igniting protests in the city, clashes with cops and resulting in the officer being placed on desk duty just hours after the shooting. The protests led to multiple officers being injured, police said. Chicago Police Chief Fred Waller said a group of officers patrolling the city's South Shore neighborhood at about 5:30 p.m. saw a person they believed to be armed and confronted him. A struggle followed and the man was fatally shot.
