A rainy and cool day is on tap for the Chippewa Valley, as the broad low pressure system slowly starts to push eastward. Expect scattered showers in the morning, then more widespread activity in the afternoon and early evening. Some locations could pick up 1/4" to 1/2" of rainfall, depending on development. The rain will end early tonight, and high pressure will start to work its way into Wisconsin. Plan on lots of sunshine on both Thursday and Friday with highs in the 60s. Be prepared for patchy frost on Thursday night with temps dropping into the 30s! This weekend, scattered showers are possible on Saturday, while isolated showers could affect the area on Sunday. Be sure to check Stormtracker Interactive radar or the WQOW weather app for the latest look at radar, current conditions, and the forecast! Meteorologist Nick Grunseth
