* Impact...At 16.6 feet...This level is the 50 percent chance flood
meaning there is a 50 percent chance of the river reaching this
level in any given year. Floodwaters are in the back yards of some
homes in Martintown. Floodwaters affect Martintown Road and West
River Road in the Martintown area. Upstream in Browntown,
floodwaters affect Highway MM and West Indies Road.

* At 245 PM CDT, flooding continues along many streams and rivers
across the area. Very high water levels were occurring on the
Kickapoo River at and above Soldiers Grove. Many low laying roads
near rivers still had water over them and were closed. Please
continue to heed remaining road closures and always stay away from
flood waters.

* A flash flood watch remains in effect for the area through
tonight. The risk of additional heavy rains has decreased, but
heavy rains remain possible, especially through this evening.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Richland Center, Viroqua, Westby, Elroy, Hillsboro, Wonewoc,
Stoddard, Coon Valley, La Farge, Clayton, Germantown, Newton,
Springville, Lone Rock, Rockbridge, Viola, Avoca, Ithaca, Soldiers
Grove and Sylvan.
