Eau Claire County Now Has Three Confirmed Cases of Swine Flu

Eau Claire County (WQOW) - Eau Claire County has its third case of Swine Flu.

A student at Crestview Academy tested positive. That's the second student from that school who's been diagnosed with the virus in a week. The health department says both students are recovering.

Also this week, a child from St. Croix County was diagnosed with Swine Flu. That's the first confirmed case in that county. The child is from the Hudson area, but goes to school outside of St. Croix County. That school, which wasn't identified, is already on summer break and the child is at home recovering.

Statewide, more than 1,400 cases of Swine Flu have been diagnosed.
