Menomonie (WQOW) - Three is the key for some UW-Stout students.
Stout unveiled a new three-year plan for a few of its major programs. Business administration, hospitality, and psychology students will have to take summer and winterim classes in order to finish in three years, but the chancellor says there are many benefits to this faster program.
"I just think that they can be more efficient in how they go to school, they do save some money in terms of housing, and they enter the market more quickly, so I think there is an advantage," says Charles W. Sorensen, UW-Stout chancellor.
Students will still pay the same for tuition, because UW-Stout charges on a per-credit basis. Anyone interested in the program has to sign a contract with the university, which they can do right now. Those students will then get priority when registering.
