Eau Claire (WQOW) - An Eau Claire man comes face to face with the man who saved his life five years ago. Mark Schuh and Guy Miller were reunited at a conference in Minneapolis. Mark, who's 25, suffered a relapse of leukemia in 2004. He learned he would need a bone marrow transplant to survive. When doctors learned no one in his family was a match, they turned to the “Be the Match Registry”. That's where Miller, a perfect stranger, comes in. He's from Alabama, where he signed up for the registry to help a friend in her battle with leukemia. Unfortunately, she passed away. However, he then found out he was a match for Mark, who received a transplant in 2004 and has been free of the disease since. He graduated from college this year with a business degree.
