Arthur SimmonsEau Claire (WQOW) - A man accused of beating and robbing two men at a Chippewa Falls motel gets prison time.
According to police, two strippers allegedly lured two men to the Indianhead Motel where they were assaulted with a metal pipe and robbed of money. Arthur Simmons and Quanta Moss are accused of beating the victims at the motel.
On Wednesday, prosecutors recommended Simmons get 1.5 years in prison as part of a plea deal but the judge ignored the plea deal and sentenced Simmons to 3 years in prison.
Cases are still pending against Nicole J. Ming and Ashley E. Hefti. Moss is in court Thursday.
