Clark County (WQOW) - An area man, who was shot when he broke into a Clark County home, will spend time in jail.

Tuesday, Cole Vetterkind of Thorp was sentenced to nearly ten months in jail, most of which he has already served, for trespassing and battery. Last January, Vetterkind, dressed up like the Joker from the movie The Dark Knight, broke into his cousin's home.

Investigators say when Vetterkind found his ex-girlfriend and cousin in bed, he attacked the couple. That's when his cousin shot Vetterkind in the leg.
