Despite northerly winds, surface temperatures will climb into the upper 30s and 40s Sunday and Monday, as warm air pools ahead of a cold front in Canada. Increasing clouds will be seen Monday night ahead of the cold front, with cooler temperatures on Tuesday as it pushes south of the area. Insufficient moisture and vertical forcing make precipitation unlikely during this period. A ridge of high pressure will build in on Tuesday and quiet weather will dominate the region. Low pressure following the US/Canada boarder brings windier conditions and a very slight chance for snow on Thursday. Colder temperatures will wrap up the work week. -Meteorologist Madeline Sky
