Undercover meth bust in Barron County


Barron County (Press Release) - An undercover methamphetamine bust nets one ounce of drugs with a street value of $5,600.

The Barron County Sheriff's Department arrested Jeremy Huey, 31, of Rochester, Minnesota on February 2, after he sold one ounce of meth to an undercover drug informant. The informant purchased one ounce of meth for $2,400 from Huey who was later stopped and taken into custody. The money used to purchase the meth was recovered from Huey. The street value of the meth purchased would be about $5,600.

Huey was charged in Barron County Thursday with one count of delivery of meth and is being held in the Barron County Jail on a $10,000 cash bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 9.
