Ronald G. Poquette

My name is Ronald Poquette & I am a life-long resident of Eau Claire, WI.  I am a graduate of Memorial High School, University Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and Tulane School of Law.  I have been married for 43 years to Mary Poquette (Nelson) and have three daughters, Aimee Bradison, Elise Bauer, and Jenae Werner.  I have been practicing law since 1971.  I was hired by the Law Firm of Betz & Lebarron.  I have worked for that Firm through the years and many changes.  Over the years our Law Firm has consisted of many local attorneys.

My father, Gordon Poquette, was a teacher at Memorial High School for 35 years.  He taught Psychology and Marriage & Family.  He coached football, basketball and baseball for many years.  As a result of those interests, I was involved in athletics through High School and College.  During my college years, I worked for Arnstad Construction, Chucks Grocery and Louis Phillips.  During Law School, I taught school, coached football and soccer and painted houses.

In the 40+ years I have practiced law, I have been involved in nearly every aspect or area of the legal process.  Our firm would be considered a general practice with emphasis on Personal Injury, Workman's Compensation, Social Security, Wills and Probate, Real Estate and Family Law.  With the help of the two (2) young attorneys in my office, Sarah M. Donnellan and Samuel P. Schlewitz, I have recently been able to take Friday afternoons off to pursue other interests such as hunting and fishing.

Along with our associates, we hope to continue servicing the local community with their legal needs for many years to come.
