MADISON (WKOW) -- Congratulations to our own Diana Henry for winning a regional Emmy Award Saturday night.
She won the award for her stories on Jackie Millar. Millar was shot in the head and left to die on November 4, 1995. Not only did she survive, but she found it in her heart to forgive the two young men who shot her simply because they wanted her car.
She visits the two men in jail regularly to spread her message of peace and forgiveness.
Millar received the Jefferson Award, also known as the national "Nobel Prize" for public service.
Congratulations to both Jackie and Diana!
