Price struck out 12 in his ninth career complete game. DeJesus stopped an 0 for 24 skid with an RBI single during a three-run first and added a third-inning two-run single.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Flip Saunders has started the search for a new Minnesota Timberwolves coach with a clear list of parameters. He says he wants someone with a head coaching track record who will hold players accountable and command respect from the moment he takes the job. That list would seem to point to Saunders hiring a well-known coach to fill the opening created by Rick Adelman's retirement.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The Minnesota Vikings return to playing home games outdoors when they open the preseason August 8th against the Oakland Raiders. Minnesota opens the preseason with a 7 p.m. Friday game against Oakland at the University of Minnesota's outdoor stadium. The Vikings will play the next two seasons at TCF Bank Stadium.
