ATLANTA (WKOW) -- Delta Airlines is issuing refunds to some of its passengers.
On Monday, the carrier said it will give tax refunds for its customers who may have overpaid for their tickets last month.
That is the opposite of what Delta said it was going to do last week.
The confusion over prices started after Congress failed to renew the FAA's operating authority.
That caused the FAA to halt some services, even though ticket prices still reflected those fees.
People who purchased tickets on or before July 22nd for travel prior to the reinstatement of the funding might get a refund.
Information on how to apply for a refund will be posted on Delta's website.
