(Press Release) - Sharing is usually a good thing, but not when it comes to the flu. It's important to get a flu shot so you don't pass it on to others.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices have said the influenza vaccine should be provided to all persons, six months of age or older, who want to reduce the risk of becoming ill or of transmitting influenza to others.
Marshfield Clinic Menomonie Center, 3603 Schneider Ave., Menomonie, will offer seasonal flu vaccinations by appointment from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day it's open throughout the flu season. Please call 715-233-6400 for an appointment.
