WASHINGTON (WKOW) -- A new report from the National Association of Realtors finds sales for existing homes were up last month.

It says existing homes sales rose 1.4 percent in October to an annual rate of nearly five million homes.

Still, economists say the housing market still has a long way to go before there's real improvement.
