Rice Lake (WQOW) - Two men were arrested following a "no-knock" search warrant executed at 3:38 p.m. in Rice Lake Thursday.
According to the Rice Lake Police Department, the warrant was executed at an apartment on the south end of the city. Two men, ages 21 and 25, were arrested.
Upon entry, officers found the men sitting and smelled marijuana in the apartment. A search of the apartment turned up approximately 1/4 of a pound of marijuana in baggies, a bundle of cash totaling $1,044 and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia used in drug distribution.
The 21-year-old remains in custody at the Barron County jail with charges pending. Charges include: possession with intent to distribute marijuana, maintaining a drug trafficking place and possession of drug paraphernalia.
His initial court appearance is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 19th.
The 25-year-old was released and will appear in court for possession of marijuana.
