LOS ANGELES (WKOW) -- A new report says Americans aren't going to movie theaters as much as they used to.
The Hollywood Reporter says attendance is at a 16 year low. An estimated 1.28 billion people went to the movies in 2011. That's the lowest number since 1995.
The National Association of Theater Owners says 2002 was peak attendance, with 1.57 billion people who visited theaters.
