Prescott (WQOW) - A western Wisconsin lawyer, with a history of drunk driving convictions, is suspended from practicing law.
The state Supreme Court Thursday suspended Warren Brandt's law license for four months. The action was prompted by his conviction for driving drunk in Minnesota. Brandt, who has a practice in Prescott, also has four OWI's in Wisconsin.
The office that regulates state lawyers alleged that the most recent conviction reflects adversely on Brandt's honesty and trustworthiness as a lawyer. In addition to the license suspension, he was ordered not to drink.
